How does the Arctic Warrior Cold Plunge System work?
This bundle is effective and straightforward to use and takes 5-10 minutes to set up.
Simply inflate the XL Ice Tub using the supplied pump, connect the inlet and outlet pipes to the Chiller unit using a simple hand-tight valve, turn on the chiller, and after it has self primed it will start to chill and filter the water, taking the water temperature down to a frosty 37 F / 3°C (if lowest temperature is selected by you).
The water chiller works with an integrated water pump, so there is no need to worry about DIY pumps and more purchases.
The intuitive touch-control panel is extremely easy to operate. Use the WiFi Connected App to control the temperature remotely, from your iOS or Android device.

How long does it take to cool down water?
Cooling times depend on the model, target temperature, water volume, and surrounding environment. Here’s an estimate for each model based on standard water volumes:
0.5 HP Chiller: Suitable for up to 66 gallons; cools water from 72°F to 39°F in approximately 10-11 hours. Average Cooling Rate: ~3-5°F per hour.
1 HP Chiller: Ideal for 92 gallons; cools water from 72°F to 37°F in about 5-6 hours. Average Cooling Rate: ~6-9°F per hour.
1.5 HP Chiller: Designed for 119 gallons; cools water from 72°F to 36°F in just 3-4 hours. Average Cooling Rate: ~9-14°F per hour.
These times are based on an ambient temperature around 86°F. For larger volumes or higher ambient temperatures, cooling may take longer, while smaller volumes could cool faster. Insulating your tub can also help maintain low temperatures more efficiently.

What temperatures can the chiller maintain?
The Chiller can maintain cool temperatures of 36-40F and warm up to 104F, while filtering your water and keeping it clean.
The chiller has an in-built automatic real-time temperature regulating function (via a thermostat), meaning that the temperature will stay as you need it to be for as long as you need it.
It will turn off and save power, while actively monitoring water temperature. If the temperature raises by 3+ F, it will turn on to regulate it down to the set level.
How long should you stay in cold water?
Cold water therapy works best with the right combination of time and temperature. For example, if you're in 50F water, we recommend staying in for no more than 10 mins.
Can I fit in the tub if I’m 6'9"?
Our XL-size tub can accommodate up to 2 people or a single person tall up to 6’9.
Can I set up & install the tub & chiller on my own?
Yes, our products are super easy to set up; even a single (not so bright) person can do it in 10 to 15 minutes.
Just pump up the tub, connect the hoses to the chiller, according to the manual included and start using it. The chiller has transport wheels for easy maneuvering around and the bath tub is compact when deflated and comes with a backpack. Both can be used virtually anywhere.
You just need access to water and electricity.
Can the tub & chiller be used outdoors?
Absolutely. Both products are certified waterproof, withstand any weather conditions, & perfect for outdoor use.
Unlike other chillers, the Arctic Warriors Pro Chiller is certified for outdoor use & waterproof.
The unit is suitable for outdoor use with an IPX4 waterproof rating. While a specific cover isn’t necessary, it’s best to place the chiller in a shaded area with adequate ventilation.
Does the chiller come with a filter to keep the water clean?
Yes, our chiller is equipped with a state-of-the-art 20-micron filtration system, ensuring continuous water circulation to remove impurities such as hair, skin flakes, leaves, and sand.
This guarantees a consistently pristine and ready-to-use ice bath experience.
Regular maintenance of the chiller's filter is crucial for optimal performance. Cleaning is simple: unscrew the cover, remove the filter, and rinse it thoroughly using a brush under running water or a high-pressure garden hose. To prevent any potential damage due to restricted water flow, we recommend replacing the filter once every 1-2 months.

How often should I change the water?
With proper water maintenance, usually every 3-6 weeks, some prefer earlier. We do recommend using specific SPA-rated chemicals for the water maintenance. The Chillers have integrated filters & ozone disinfection to help keeping water clean.
The water chiller filters out particles and cleanses water, but changing the water every few weeks helps maintain hygiene. We recommend keeping the lid on the tub when not using it to avoid getting additional debris inside. We recommend washing the inside of the tub every time you do a water change.
What maintenance is required?
Maintenance purely lies with the chiller filters, cleaning the metal mesh in the chiller, and replacing the particle filter.
The heat pump system is fully sealed and leak-tested and should never need to be maintained. The main flow and priming pumps have an exceptional lifespan and are expected to last more than 10 years of continuous use.
Both products also come with a 1 Year Warranty and a Repair Kit for minor issues (although they rarely happen).
Water: We do recommend to test your waters pH and Alkaline Levels every couple of weeks and use proper maintenance chemicals when needed.
What is the Ozone Feature?
The ozone feature in Arctic Warriors chillers is a built-in water sanitation system.Ozone (O₃) is a natural and highly effective disinfectant that kills bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens in water.
